Wedding album planning – again

I did promise myself I would make this wedding album before my memory got muddy and from working with the last album I did learn that things don`t have to be perfect. For me done is better than perfect. One thing I didn`t learn was to print less photos. I thought I did because I printed less than half of the photos I could access…

This batch also include photos from our vacation. I copied all the files into my drive and deleted more than half. Looked once more and deleted a few. I uploaded to the printed service and thought I could go another round of choosing before ordering the prints. Then everything slowed down and it was taking way too much time to pick and choose. With 50% discount on the print I could not justify spending all that time being selective.

I spent a few hours sorting the photos into themes…

…and I ended up with a nice batch for the paperbin…

…one batch for cold storage…

…and I ended up with a few to give away. A really cute little flower girl deserve a little something…

Now I have all the photos I might want to use divided in themes that flows from the start to the end…

I have the written speeches from the groom, the groom`s mother and the best man to add in the album, and I have journaling cards to write down some ideas for the journaling. There arn`t that many stories to be told from a wedding – in our family most of the fun stuff happens before the wedding:) But – without a few stories this will be a boring album…

I have already bought an album …

After spending a lot of time online to look for a cute paper I gave up and have decided to use one of the paper lines I already have…

If I had a printer that could print perfectly nice on letter sized cardstock I would have used some of the elegant templates I already own but my A4- printer is no good for this task and therefore I have to make something simple myself. Very simple:)

I`m on my way. A lot of choices already made so this should be a piece of cake. I think…
