Scrapbooking with kits

Or rather homemade kits:)

Inspired by May Flaum`s class “Kit-tastic” at Bpc I did my best and made my own kit…

So – I added buttons. I never use buttons. Still I have a few and I really try to use them because I love the look they create when I admire the work of others. This is not how I normally play so this was a step learning curve for me.

I had this in front of me like forever…

I moved things around again and again before I couldn`t take it any longer. The end result…

I am not sure I like to start making pages without having any idea about how I want things to end up:) It takes to long.

Next page took just as long from planning to the finished result…

Removing one pager and adding another. Do something else and come back. Removing. Adding. Coffee. And after a while I can`t take it anymore and gluing is the only way to get it done…

The kids had fun making bows and arrows. The big question is who cut the branch of grandma`s newly planted plum tree:)

The only way to handle the hard things is to keep going. Next plan…

Playing around once more. Sometimes the final layout is very different from what I planned to make…

Still no buttons used and now I was really sick of using these papers but I made one more…

Back to familiar grounds. Grid with photos. Add some paper. Glue and sew. Done…

While I wait for May`s next handout I will follow her inspiration and collect some Halloween colors. I am sure I have at least three Halloween inspired papers – somewhere:)
