This Christmas Eve was celebrated without the kids. Just me, my brother and his wife. We did urge the kids to bring the camera and we did send a message reminding them but do they listen – no. All we got was one pic of the tree:)
That is okay – but the scrapbooker in me is sad. Celebrating without the kids is also a little sad although peaceful:)
Christmas Day was the perfect winter wonderland and everyone came for dinner…
The daughter in-laws did not look happy…
Not happy about their Christmas gifts? Or it could be the struggle of work, preparing for Christmas or sick kids keeping them awake all night? Lets face the fact – the dads probably slept through the night…
Baby Anton was not feeling good but he kept himself busy looking through grandma`s cabinets. Making music with the cookware is so much fun…
…and why not make sure everyone have a drink…
It is important to keep an eye out when you are about to enter a forbidden zone…
Elin Marie is a “care-taker” and is looking out for the little one…
When she is not busy making sure she get one of the turkey legs…
Usually she and grandpa have one each but grandpa don`t feels so sure he will have one next year because Kristian is a runner-up for the second one…
One thing for sure – if you want one you have to be in the right place on the right time.
Kristian is the shy one and usually not so happy about the camera but Christmas Day he was an avid “photo-bomber”. All over the place…
All over the place – all the time.
My name is Kristian and I am a “photo-bomber”…
Tor Magnus had a difficult night and wasn`t feeling that good…
Still a happy little boy…
No wonder he is a favorite with the ladies in Kindergarten…
Sometimes he just have to join in on the “photo-bombing”…
Funny kids…
Sick or not – dessert is a must…
She made a deal with her grandfather before Christmas. If she could keep her room tidy all December he would give her this animal…
She was to send a pick of her clean room every day. That did not happen but her parents said she did her best and had earned her animal. ( I have no idea what this is but even me liked the ugly thing).
Now – new make-up and new dress don`t make a lady…
It is easy to forget to sit like a lady when you are dressed like one:)
Nothing like a hug from mom…
He love applause. Taking a bite of food and he wants to applaud…
Funny boy.
With all the snow I had to wait until the next day before going home…
In Norway we celebrate Christmas all through January 1 and then some.
But – it feels like it`s all over.
I bet the Julenisse was very kind to all the children . So sorry to hear some were under the weather for the special day! Have a good week ahead all
